Beaches in Komarna
Villa Dorida Beach
Villa Dorida Beach is right in front of Villa Dorida. Take your favorite book, and make yourself comfortable on one of the long chairs available to our guests. The beach is just 10 m away. The sunbathing area is cemented and there is a part that is covered with grass. Next to the beach Villa Dorida, there is a beach bar where you can enjoy a cold drink.
Uvala Beach
From Villa Dorida to Uvala Beach take a 5 min walk along the Komarna coast. Uvala Beach is a pebble beach, and it is located at the end of Komarna village, in the bay protected from the west wind. Uvala Beach is very popular among tourists and locals. It can be crowded over the weekend. If you have many things to carry, you can also reach it by car.
Komarna Beach
Komarna Beach is located in the middle of the village 2 minutes walk from Villa Dorida. Komarna Beach is a pebble beach.
Beach Klek
Klek Beach is probably the nicest beach in this area. It is situated in the village of the same name, 3 km south of Komarna. Klek Beach is a pebble beach, is protected from the wind, and it is safe for children. Next to the beach, there are several bars and restaurants. Klek Beach can be very busy on weekends, because, apart from tourists, it is a popular swimming place for the local people from Metkovic.
Usce Beach
Beach Usce is a sand beach, that has formed at the mouth of the Neretva river, where the Neretva joins the Adriatic sea. Usce Beach is a few kilometers long. Tides can vary quite a bit throughout the day. Next to the beach is the camping ground Rio, where you can find extra facilities.
