Swimming

Swimming is not to be missed during your stay in Komarna. Crystal clear sea awaits only 10 m away from Villa Dorida. Whether you enjoy hours of swimming, or prefer just a quick swim to cool off from the hot Dalmatian sun, while in Komarna, you will certainly fully enjoy the sea and its magic.

Water sports

Rent a jet-ski, motor boat or a speed boat. Discover many bays and islands around Komarna. Note that you need a valid licence to run a motor or a speed boat in Croatia.

Day trips

Hiking

In the Komarna area, in the hills above and around the village, there are many hidden villages, stone houses, and churches. If you enjoy long walks in the nature, in Komarna you wil find many small roads, all of them open to the public.

Rent a mountain bike

If you enjoy mountain biking, and you don’t mind a bit of physical effort, in Komarna for 3 euro a day, you can rent mountain bicycles.

Canoeing on the Trebizat River

Trebizat River Canoeing takes you along an 11 km long track. It starts at the swimming place Bozjak, near Studenci, and ends at swimming place Jaz near Struge. The river is calm and still, but it gets a bit quicker and more exciting at the second part of the track. Canoeing on the Trebizat river is suitable for all ages. No previous experience is needed.

Rafting on the Neretva River

The track is 15 km long, starting just north of Mostar and ending in the village Biletic. Rafts can take up to 8 persons. The track is suitable for adults and children. Professional guides and equipment are provided.

Indoor swimming pool, fitness and sauna

At Villa Komarna which is located next to Villa Dorida, there is an indoor swimming pool, fitness and sauna, that guests of Villa Dorida can use for a small daily charge.

Fishing

While in Komarna, try your skills at catching your own lunch or dinner. You can obtain a fishing licence at the tourist office in Komarna located just across from Villa Dorida.
